ELV Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems (CCTV, access control, intercom, fire alarm, audio-visual, public address, structured cabling, etc.).
- Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of ELV equipment and networks.
- Read and interpret electrical and ELV system drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on installed systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and project specifications.
- Assist engineers during system design, integration, and commissioning phases.
- Document installations, maintenance activities, and service reports.
- Provide technical support to clients and end-users when required.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and team members for smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum [X] years of experience as an ELV Technician.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, structured cabling, etc.).
- Ability to work with tools, testing equipment, and wiring installations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driving license (preferred/required, as per role needs).
Working Conditions
- Site-based role (indoor/outdoor environments).
- May require travel between project sites.
- Flexible to work overtime or shifts as per project needs.
